The Upper Derwent River Review was a project undertaken by the Derwent Estuary Program (DEP) to assess the water quality in the upper catchment. Aquatic Science contributed to a detailed report and data review on the past condition of the river and the DEP has established a monitoring program to provide current data.

The review was a collaborative project with Lois Koehnken (Technical Advice on Water), Alistair Brooks (Macquarie Franklin) and some of the stakeholders in the project (the DEP, Water Resources DPIPWE and Hydro Tasmania).
